Did you know that in 2010 Germans made almost 29 million trips to foreign countries by car? Approximately 7.7 million of these trips were to Austria and 4.8 million to Italy but only about 600 thousand to Spain. You might ask yourself ‘Who cares?’ Well, Nuance cares. In order to develop voice solutions that really meet car drivers’ needs, Nuance continuously conducts studies and surveys analyzing car drivers’ behavior, expectations and preferences. One of our recent studies looks into drivers’ needs for multilingual navigation. It’s based on interviews with 40.000 car drivers from 33 European countries. If you’re interested in learning more about the study and multilingual navigation solutions, join us at the Nuance Automotive Forum Europe 2012, taking place on April 17, 2012, in Stuttgart, Germany.
